Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Broadview Heights, OH is seeking a Residential Front Load Driver to service assigned routes, operating trucks to collect waste and recycling. The role emphasizes safe driving, proper vehicle maintenance, and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

Must have valid Class B CDL.
Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
No DUI/OVI within the last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks in a safe and compliant manner to provide trash or recycling removal services by emptying carts into the truck and hauling to disposal.
May pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
Replace trash/recycling carts neatly at the curb or designated area.
Clean up waste spills and overflows.
Maintain and update route sheets and keep truck cab clean.
Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete logs.
Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures when cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body.
