Job summary

Midwest Paper Retriever LLC is seeking a professional truck driver to operate a heavy-duty vehicle, load and transport large containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, and customer locations. You will navigate driveways, alleys, and busy streets, performing precise backing maneuvers and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting issues, coordinating with Site Manager and Dispatch to optimize routes, and completing on-site documents.

Qualifications

• Map reading and navigation skills.
• Clear communication with customers and team members.
• High safety awareness and adherence to DOT/OSHA rules.
• Ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle safely per OSHA/DOT and local laws.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Reports unsafe situations or issues to Manager/Dispatch.
• Coordinates with Site Manager, Dispatcher, and Sales to improve route efficiency.
• Notifies about incidents or service interruptions and documents customer requests.
• Ensures containers are correctly placed and lids/doors are secure.
