Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) is seeking a part-time CDL Truck Driving Instructor to train weekday, nonexempt personnel in Class A CDL instruction. Part-time position assisting with training commercial driving students to earn their Class A CDL and gain entry-level positions in the commercial driving industry. May assist with Class B instruction. Drug testing and medical certification as required by DOT guidelines. Full orientation and training is included for all new instructors.
This is a part-time wage position, limited to 1500 hours within a 12-month period, with no benefits. There is potential eligibility for educational assistance for BRCC classes and job-related training and/or certifications.

Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
