Job summary

Waste Management in Fresno is seeking CDL drivers for residential, commercial, and roll-off routes. The role involves operating heavy trucks, delivering containers to disposal or recycling facilities, and meeting safety standards.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, back up with precision, and cooperate with dispatch to optimize routes. A valid CDL with air-brake endorsement and ability to pass pre-employment screenings are required.

Qualifications

• CDL required with air-brake endorsement.
• Ability to read and interpret traffic signs and records.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and physical.
• English reading/writing sufficient for customer interaction and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks in accordance with WM safety rules and DOT regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe conditions or service-related issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
• Attend required trainings and meetings and support route efficiency improvements.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and assist other drivers to meet customer needs.
