Job summary

Waste Management (WM) is seeking CDL drivers to support residential, commercial, and roll-off routes. The role emphasizes safe and efficient waste management services with on-site training and adherence to safety standards.

Candidates must hold CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement, have at least 1 year of driving experience (military driving counts), and be 18+ with strong English communication abilities. The position requires ability to operate heavy-duty trucks in various environments.

Qualifications

• CDL required: Class A with air-brake endorsement or Class B with air-brake endorsement.
• 1 year CDL driving or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle per WM safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR documentation.
• Report unsafe situations or service issues to Operations Manager.
• Attend training programs, briefings and meetings.
• Work with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies and best practices.
• Notify Operations Manager/Dispatch of incidents and service interruptions.
