Job Summary

Operate a heavy-duty truck safely and efficiently to complete assigned residential routes while providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities

1. Operate vehicles in compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA and DOT requirements.
2. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings using Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
3. Report unsafe situations, service issues, or incidents to supervisors immediately.
4. Attend all required training sessions and meetings.
5. Follow route schedules, assist other drivers as needed, and address customer requests or issues.
6. Ensure all containers are emptied, customer areas are clean, and containers are properly positioned.
7. Complete and submit required documentation, including customer tickets for excess yardage.
8. Communicate with supervisors and dispatch about route progress and any problems encountered.

Position Requirements

1. No formal education or prior work experience required.
2. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B).
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. Pass pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, and background check.
5. Maintain an acceptable driving record.
