Job Summary

Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle according to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR, noting issues for repair.
• Report unsafe situations or service calls immediately.
• Participate in training, briefings, and meetings.
• Work with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts.
• Complete all scheduled duties, assist other drivers, and communicate issues to management.
• Ensure containers are dumped properly, containers are positioned correctly, and the customer site is left clean.
• Complete documentation and follow route assignments throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Education: None required.
• Experience: No prior experience needed.
• Licenses: Valid state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Expected hourly rate is $20.75, subject to various factors.
