Job summary

WM (Waste Management) seeks experienced CDL drivers to join our transportation team in Indiana. Industry experience is preferred and advancement opportunities are available as you grow with us.

You will operate heavy-duty trucks, perform safety checks, and ensure timely pickups and container handling with weight considerations and back-up maneuvers. We offer a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, boot allowance, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement.
• At least 1 year of CDL-driving experience or 1 year military driving in the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates a vehicle in compliance with safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks.
• Reports unsafe situations or service-related issues to management.
• Handles pickups and deliveries of containers, ensuring clean work areas.

Skills

CDL Class A with air-brake endorsement

CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement

English proficiency
