WM (Waste Management) is hiring CDL drivers in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves operating heavy-duty trucks, transporting waste or recyclables to disposal or transfer facilities, and performing back-up maneuvers in varied environments.

Responsibilities include strict adherence to safety rules, completing pre/post-trip inspections, and communicating with Dispatch to ensure efficient routes and timely service. A valid CDL and English proficiency are required, with on-site work expected.

Formación

• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• CDL Class A with air-brake endorsement or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement

Responsabilidades

• Operates vehicle in accordance with Safety and Life Critical Rules and DOT requirements
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks
• Notifies Operations Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions and safety concerns
• Attends required trainings and meetings
• Follows route assignments and completes end-of-day documentation and checkout
