Responsibilities

• Drive trucks with capacities greater than 13 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport products, grain, feed, ingredients, petroleum, or other materials to locations.
• Loads and unloads trucks and assists others with loading/unloading; operates loading-related equipment as needed.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading/unloading positions; follows loading crew signals; ensures correct vehicle positioning.
• Couples/uncouples trailers; connects/disconnects air and electrical lines; handles fifth-wheel locks.
• Maintains safety procedures when transporting goods and performs pre-trip inspections.
• Maintains logs of hours and vehicle service status per regulations; verifies loads and documents.
