Job summary

Five Star Cooperative is seeking a responsible truck driver to safely transport goods and materials, including grain and agronomy products, across locations in Iowa. The role involves loading and unloading, following safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The incumbent will work under supervision at the New Hampton location and may assist in grain and agronomy operations, inventory checks, and cross-location support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills – Word and Excel.
• Good customer service skills.
• Agriculture background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks (>13 tons, including tractor-trailer) to transport products, grain, feed, ingredients, petroleum, or other materials.
• Loads and unloads trucks; assists others with loading.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and maintains logs.
• Follows safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
• Obtains and verifies load documentation and routing information.
• Secures cargo with ropes, chains, or covers.
• Communicates with locations via radio/phone.
