Job summary

RBH Hinkle is seeking a Truck Driver/Operator to safely drive commercial vehicles and operate construction equipment for utility, infrastructure, and construction projects. You will transport materials, inspect assets, and support crews with site work while following DOT regulations and safety policies.

The role requires a valid driver's license, CDL where needed, and the ability to pass drug/alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating commercial vehicles and construction equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL (Class A or B) preferred or required based on assignment.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening requirements.
• Ability to meet company driving standards and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, water trucks, and other assigned vehicles.
• Transport materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
• Load, unload, and secure materials in accordance with DOT and company standards.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
• Operate construction equipment as assigned, including excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, rollers, and more.
• Assist crews with utility, excavation, grading, trenching, restoration, and general construction activities.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Identify and report vehicle, equipment, and safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain logs, inspection reports, and other documentation as required.
