Job summary

East Windsor Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Transition Program Job Coach with a valid CDL to support students in school-to-work and community-based transition programming at East Windsor High School.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP goals, following teacher guidance on accommodations, assisting with workplace skills, and transporting students in district vehicles while maintaining privacy and dignity in all settings. Requires PMT and CPR training, and a CDL with P/V endorsements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete district provided PMT training.
• Must complete district provided medical delegation and CPR Training.
• Must have or obtain within 60 days a valid CDL with P and V endorsements.
• Experience operating wheelchair lifts and using 4-point wheelchair securement devices.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals and services as directed by special education staff.
• Follow instructions on accommodations and workplace development.
• Provide supervision and safety in community and school settings.
• Transport students using district vehicles as requested by supervising staff.
• Assist with student communication, social skills, and independence.
