Job summary

Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to support students in community-based vocational instruction and assist with the school-to-work transition. You will work under the Supervisor of Special Programs and Services, providing training, transportation coordination, and on-site guidance at various sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Ability to collect and enter student data accurately.
• Knowledge of local Carbon and Lehigh County areas.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with students respectfully and effectively.
• Provides one-on-one or small group support at work/educational sites.
• Monitors student progress using WBLP tools and data records.
• Delivers strategies using IEP guidelines and accommodations.
• Maintains a safe learning and transportation environment.
