Job summary

Keystone Cooperative is seeking an Entry Level CDL Trainer to deliver hands-on driver training, guiding new CDL holders through hands-on operations and state testing preparation. This full-time role emphasizes safety, documentation, and clear communication in a dynamic training environment.

The trainer will conduct behind-the-wheel sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with trainees to ensure readiness for CDL tests while complying with USDOT and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Must have current DOT medical card.
• Must be willing to become a certified trainer through FMCSA.
• Clean driving history required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct behind-the-wheel training per FMCSA/NPA materials.
• Document training progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Submit training completion data via required portals.
• Answer questions and provide feedback to trainees.
• Travel within the company trade territory and occasional overnight travel.
