Republic Services is seeking a Driver Trainee in Union City, TN. You will undergo a comprehensive CDL training program designed to prepare you for a full Driver role across our residential, commercial, industrial, or roll-off lines of business.

Upon successful completion of training and obtaining a CDL, you will transition into a Driver position with Republic Services. The program emphasizes classroom study, on-route training, and the resources to pass the CDL examination.

Qualifications

• No prohibitions to obtaining a CDL.
• Willingness to participate in the CDL training program.

Responsibilities

• Complete CDL training program including classroom study, on-route training and driving practice.
• Pass the CDL examination after training.
• Complete twelve months of employment after obtaining a CDL.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate a heavy or commercial truck along designated routes to disposal sites.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• After CDL, assume Driver duties in one of Republic Services' lines of business.
