Republic Services is offering a Driver Trainee program in Union City, TN. Trainees will complete a structured CDL training path with classroom and hands-on instruction, with the goal of advancing to a Driver after obtaining a CDL.

Qualifications

• No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete CDL training program including classroom and on-route training.
• Learn to perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Learn to operate a heavy/ commercial truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Learn to safely load refuse and dispose of material at the facility.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and monitor safety and equipment on trips.
• After CDL, perform responsibilities of a Driver in the applicable business line.
