Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Trainee-DOT to learn all aspects of a Route Delivery Driver role. You will service accounts, deliver, unload, and merchandise products while adhering to safety and driving regulations.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, CDL and DOT readiness, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction as you develop your driving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Zero to two years of commercial driving experience with CDL preferred.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical before start.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL permit within 45 business days if CDL not held.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety."

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre/post-trip inspection on truck per DOT requirements.
• Safely drive a truck with GVW under or over 26,000 pounds.
• Unload products and check-in procedures at accounts.
• Stock shelves, racks, and displays with proper rotation.
• Obtain signatures, store stamps, and invoices for end-of-day settlement.
• Communicate issues to store personnel and management.
