Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Route Trainee to join our team. The role involves delivering and merchandising products, stocking shelves and displays, and processing invoices on routes.

You will operate vehicles under 26,000 lb GVW and support promotions while ensuring accuracy and customer service. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform basic calculations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a vehicle under 26,000 pounds GVW.
• Stock and merchandize coolers, displays, shelves, and vendors per PBV standards.
• Deliver orders and process invoices in accounts; create POS signage.
• Assist with promotions and customer service during routes.
• Verify cash and invoice accuracy at day end and secure customer signatures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members; follow company rules.
