Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for an energetic Front Load Driver to service commercial routes and operate refuse collection trucks. Responsibilities include pre-/post-trip inspections, safe operation, and maintaining records while delivering courteous service to customers.

The role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), a clean driving record, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Candidates should be at least 21 years old and prepared to work on assigned routes with daily truck

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of DOT/state requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors, understand highway and traffic signals, and make legible entries on paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-load refuse collection on pre-assigned routes, empties containers into the truck using levers, and loads waste to designated areas.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, mileage, fuel, logs, and vehicle condition reports.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service and report issues to appropriate contacts.
• Ensure safe operation of the truck including pre-/post-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Keep truck clean and perform weekly washes; inspect under the hood and tires.
• Follow designated routes and schedules and maintain written records.
