Job summary

SP+ is hiring a Shuttle Driver in Des Moines, IA to operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently, ensuring passengers reach destinations smoothly. A valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a current DOT Medical Card are required.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, keeping buses clean, assisting disabled passengers, and maintaining punctuality in uniform. Occasional shifts beyond standard hours and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License Requirement: CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient shuttle transportation for passengers.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain bus cleanliness.
• Be on time and in uniform for scheduled shifts.
• Assist passengers and follow company safety procedures.
• Know garage areas and local streets for smooth routing.
• Assist with luggage handling when applicable.
• Communicate incidents or hazards to management.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when needed.
• Support the facility manager with additional duties.
