Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts state CDL with 'Passenger & Air Brake' endorsements.
• Minimum five years driving experience; excellent driving record; three to five years passenger transport preferred; strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates shuttle bus on designated routes on the Cambridge and Allston campuses.
• Operates transit vehicles for charters and extended services.
• Communicates on two-way radio with coordinator to receive instructions and confirm changes, additions, or deletions from route schedule.
• Performs daily safety inspection of vehicle and equipment; completes vehicle condition report including maintenance requests.
• Performs refueling and electric recharging of vehicles as needed.
• Assists passengers with mobility impairments entering and exiting vehicle.
