Job summary

SP+ is seeking shuttle drivers in Cambridge, MA to operate safe, reliable shuttle buses and deliver exceptional customer service during night shifts. You will perform vehicle inspections, assist passengers, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while adhering to DOT requirements and company policies.

Two positions are available: full-time Sunday–Tuesday 5:30pm–2:30am and Wednesday 2:45pm–1:15am; part-time Thu–Sat 5:30pm–3:45am. CDL, DOT medical card, and valid DMV record are required.

Qualifications

• Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
• Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently and transport passengers to destinations.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain bus cleanliness; fuel as needed; log trip counts.
• Ensure on-time performance and excellent customer service.
• Maintain a neat appearance and wear complete uniform at all times.
• Be punctual, available for scheduled shifts, and communicate with the Facility Manager as needed.
