Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport passengers along assigned routes, ensuring safety, reliability, and excellent customer service. The role prioritizes punctuality, professional communication, and compliance with company policies and traffic laws.

Qualified candidates will hold a CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements, pass a DOT physical and background check, and may have 1 year of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement and airbrake endorsements required.
• DOT physical, drug screen and background check required.
• Preferred: HS diploma and 1 year of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned shuttle safely and in accordance with traffic laws.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatchers, and managers.
• Provide outstanding customer service and answer questions about routes and schedules.
• Report maintenance issues, route disruptions, and incidents via radio or onboard systems.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and incident reports.
• Support ADA passengers with boarding and unloading as needed (up to 45 lbs).
• Additional duties as assigned.
