Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Bus Driver - Shuttle Driver to transport passengers safely along designated routes in a full-time capacity. A CDL with airbrake endorsement is required, with duties including pre- and post-trip inspections, punctual service, and professional passenger interactions.

ADA support provided as needed. Compensation is $32.65/hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and PTO/holidays.

Qualifications

• CDL with airbrake endorsement required.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1 year commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatchers, and managers.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting passengers and answering questions about routes and schedules.
• Report maintenance issues, route disruptions, and accidents via two-way radio or hands-free communication tools.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and incident reports.
• Support ADA passengers with boarding and unloading as needed (up to 45 lbs).
• Additional duties as assigned.
