Job summary

WeDriveU is hiring a Shuttle Driver in Austin, TX to transport passengers on designated routes safely and on time. You will help meet mobility needs while upholding safety, reliability, and top-tier customer service.

Mon–Thu split shifts (10 hours/day) are available. Ideal candidates hold a CDL with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements, a clean driving record, and can pass a DOT physical and background checks. ADA support may be required. Benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL, Passenger P endorsement, and Airbrake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Comfortable with split shifts and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatchers, and managers.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting passengers and answering questions on routes and schedules.
• Report maintenance issues, route disruptions, and accidents via two-way radio or hands-free tools.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and incident reports.
• Support ADA passengers with boarding and unloading as needed (up to 45 lbs).
• Additional duties as assigned.
