Job summary

WeDriveU in California is seeking a Coach Operator to transport corporate employees safely between stops on pre-determined routes. The role emphasizes strict safety adherence, punctuality, and excellent customer service across diverse campuses and workplaces.

The position requires a CDL (Class A or B), passenger endorsement, clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT physicals and background checks. A high school diploma and at least one year of driving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Use route navigation apps and area knowledge to pick up/drop off customers.
• Maintain electronic logs for routes and incidents.
• Pass DOT physical, drug test, and background checks.
• Flexible scheduling including split shifts and non-regular days.
• Ability to assist loading/unloading ADA passengers up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain punctual attendance and safety compliance at all times.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report issues promptly.
• Follow traffic laws and transit regulations.
• Interact professionally with riders, dispatch, and managers.
• Provide customer service, address schedules, routes, and delays.
• Report maintenance or route disruptions via radios or devices.
