Job summary

DSV is hiring a CDL Shuttle Driver for the New Albany, Indiana area. The role involves operating a semi-tractor trailer for loading and delivering to the plant and warehouse, following safety and quality instructions.

The shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with full-time hours. Required are a high school diploma or GED, a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, and at least 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a Class A CDL w/Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and maintain valid medical certificate.
• Must pass road and backing test during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the shuttle vehicle on each trip. Follow all laws and company policy.
• Maintain records for trailer numbers and vehicle position.
• Interact daily with warehouse supervisors and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate with operations via cellular phone or 2‑way radio.
• Position trucks at loading/unloading with required safety checks.
• Follow airline/electrical hookups and backing procedures.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse and yard security.
