Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver for the b shift (2PM–10:30PM). This role operates a semi-tractor trailer to load and deliver products between plant and warehouse with safety and efficiency.

You must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat, have at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and pass the onboarding road and backing tests. base pay is around market rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Must have a clean driving record and meet DOT physical requirements.
• Must pass road and backing test during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the shuttle vehicle on each trip and follow laws and policy.
• Maintain records for trailer numbers and vehicle positions.
• Interact with warehouse supervisors and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate with operations via phone or radio in a courteous manner.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse and yard security.
