Job summary

Monroe School District Transportation is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to operate district buses for 180 days per year, 4 hours per day. Duties include transporting students to/from school and on field trips, while maintaining safety and discipline on board.

The role requires a valid Washington CDL with endorsements, a clean driving record, and CPR/First Aid qualifications. Position is part-time with hourly pay; union contract applies with benefits including health, retirement, and leave

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Washington State Class B CDL with endorsements and school bus driver authorization.
• CPR and First Aid qualifications must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely in all weather conditions.
• Transport students to and from school, field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain discipline and order on the bus and ensure student safety.
