Job summary

Republic Services in Atlanta seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. The role requires adhering to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and daily vehicle condition reports.

You will conduct pre- and post-operation inspections, service customer routes, load refuse, and maintain accurate reports. Ideal candidates will hold a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and demonstrate strong time-management and professional customer

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform full pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.
• Safely operate the truck along the designated route, read the route sheet, and service each customer as assigned.
• Load refuse using the packer, dispose of material at the designated facility, and follow safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Monitor waste containers for suitability and tag as required.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and required reports daily.
