Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Clarksville, TN, is seeking a CDL-equipped driver responsible for frontload and ancillary collection routes. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, operate under safety standards, and interact with customers while ensuring timely waste pickup.

Qualifications

Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
Must be able to meet safety sensitive functions per company standards.
Must demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste.
Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and position 3-4 yard cans for dumping.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
Interact courteously with customers and public; notify supervisor of issues.
Maintain cleanliness at customer sites and spill areas; ensure safety.
Maintain and submit logbooks and productivity sheets as required by law.
Maneuver truck using mirrors and GPS; back up in restricted spaces.
Follow safety practices and applicable federal, state, local rules.
Monitor operations for debris and secure loads before transport.
