Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to operate frontload and ancillary waste collection equipment on designated routes.

You will interact with customers, perform pre-/post-trip inspections, and maintain logs while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have at least one year of trucking experience or a CDL school certificate, and be capable of safely maneuvering the vehicle in varying traffic conditions.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to safely drive trucks and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste.
• Open container enclosures to access cans and dump into facilities.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain route/productivity logs and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures and monitor operations for debris.
