Job summary

Casella Waste Systems is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely operate rear load, front load, side load, and roll-off trucks on designated routes and provide excellent customer service in residential and commercial settings. The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL, ability to lift heavy objects, and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid CDL Class A or B.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects over 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screening and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections and maintains vehicle appearance.
• Operates rear load, front load, side load, and roll-off trucks safely in various environments.
• Provides courteous service and timely waste removal on assigned routes.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and reports incidents to Dispatch.
• Participates in ongoing training and adheres to safety policies.
