Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely operate rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks while delivering prompt waste removal services on designated routes.

You will navigate residential and commercial areas and provide courteous customer service on every stop. The position offers $25.00–$30.00 per hour with opportunities for 45+ hours per week, a Career Pathways program, regular merit increases, and safety bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Physical ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and maintains the truck’s appearance according to safety standards.
• Operates rear/front/side load and roll-off trucks safely on streets, highways and customer sites with courteous service.
• Completes route sheets and required paperwork accurately on each shift.
• Attends scheduled training programs and promptly notifies dispatch of issues or unsafe situations.
