Job summary

The CDL Truck Driver at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. will operate rear load, front load, side load, and roll-off trucks on designated routes while delivering prompt waste removal and top-rate customer service.

New starting pay rate for qualified candidates. Casella offers a Career Pathways program with advancement opportunities, merit increases, and safety bonus incentives. Hiring range is $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to operate on residential and commercial routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections of the assigned truck following Casella safety standards.
• Safely operate rear, front, side load and roll-off trucks on streets, sites, and alleys.
• Provide courteous service and timely waste removal to customers.
• Accurately complete company and regulatory paperwork.
• Empty receptacles, clean spill areas, and maintain clean work zones.
• Complete assigned route sheet for the designated line of business.
