Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a professional to operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes in San Marcos, TX.

Responsibilities include loading waste, operating side-load and rear-load trucks, performing safety inspections, and documenting routes and maintenance needs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Commercial Driver's License, and at least one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet safety sensitive criteria and safely operate the truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection, side-load and/or rear-load truck on specified route.
• Load solid waste, yard waste and/or recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete daily reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor or mechanic promptly.
