Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a professional CDL driver to operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes. You will load materials, compact waste, and perform routine inspections while ensuring safety and route quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a CDL (or CDL training). Benefits include comprehensive health options and employer match programs. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• CDL is required or obtained through CDL school.
• Ability to demonstrate safe driving and vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on a specified route.
• Load waste and/or recyclables into the truck and compact trash.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and document results.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality and comply with safety standards.
• May work overtime as needed.
