Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a professional CDL truck driver to join our Columbus, IN area operations. You will operate a waste collection vehicle safely, perform pre-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card
• 1–2 years CDL truck driving experience preferred
• Waste industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck safely and in compliance with regulations
• Enter/exit truck regularly and inspect load and tarp as needed
• Maintain route and driver logs; communicate with dispatch
• Provide excellent customer service and professional interaction with customers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs
• Travel between offices as needed and work nights/weekends as required
