Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Roll Off Driver to service customers by hauling roll-off containers to disposal sites and returning empties. You will operate the truck safely on assigned routes with daily pre/post trip inspections.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and 1–2 years of driving experience. You’ll interact professionally with customers, follow dispatch instructions, and support the team with safe, compliant waste collection.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system.
• Ability to drive manual transmission is preferred.
• General knowledge of the truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with customers.
• Must read and speak English well enough to understand directions and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe and compliant manner to provide roll-off delivery and removal services to customers on an assigned route or by work order.
• Maintains and updates route sheets and logs.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and DVIR logs.
• Visually inspect roll-off containers and ensure load is secure.
• Interact professionally with customers and coordinate with dispatch on additional work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
