Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled driver to operate Roll Off trucks on assigned routes in Michigan. You will load, secure, and unload waste and recyclables, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and keep accurate route records.

A valid CDL and at least one year of driving experience are required to join a safety‑driven team. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly, work independently, and comply with all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL and at least 1 year of satisfactory driving experience.
• Ability to read and follow route sheets, safety procedures and company policies.
• Comfort with documenting inspections, incidents and daily paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll Off with Trailer on assigned route to collect waste on schedule.
• Ensure loads are secure; close tarps and remove loose trash.
• Dump waste and complete pre/post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality and follow safety standards at all times.
• Document daily activities and route performance; assist with routing efficiency.
