Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to safely and efficiently collect waste across assigned routes. The role requires operating roll-off trucks, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate records while upholding all safety standards.

You will work with the branch team to meet routing goals, communicate issues promptly, and provide professional service to customers. A CDL and driving experience are required; eagerness to learn and comply with company policies is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria and demonstrate safe driving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and equipment to collect waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain route quality and adhere to safety standards.
• Keep vehicle clean and maintain records of services performed.
• Assist in improving routing efficiencies with supervisor.
