Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL required.
• 1 year of driving experience preferred.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll Off with Trailer and on-board hydraulic systems on assigned route to collect solid waste and/or recyclables.
• Secure loads with tarp and ensure no loose trash is visible.
• Ensure all trash is emptied from trailer when dumping a load.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports daily.
• Report mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as determined by management.
• Operate vehicle and equipment using prescribed techniques to minimize faults.
• Follow safety standards and company vehicle operation rules.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Wear all required PPE at all times (gloves, vest, glasses, boots).
• Record services performed accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisor to improve routing efficiencies.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
• Overtime may be required.
