Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a CDL driver to operate a roll-off truck on designated routes, performing inspections, engaging with customers, and ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires driving experience, route knowledge, and strict adherence to DOT regulations.

You will contribute to safe, efficient waste collection services while maintaining professional customer relations and reporting duties. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Possess valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive roll-off truck along designated routes to collect, exchange or deliver containers.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and site safety during operations.
• Maintain DOT logbook and productivity sheets as required by law or policy.
• Back up and maneuver in tight spaces using mirrors; locate service addresses via maps and GPS.
• Follow all safety procedures, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
