Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to operate a roll-off truck and related equipment in Quincy, IL. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain route documentation, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the vehicle throughout daily operations.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL and have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate. You will document daily paperwork and may work overtime as needed to meet routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess valid CDL.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Must safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and equipment to collect waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports daily.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality and improve routing efficiencies.
• Follow all safety standards and company rules during duties.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Complete daily paperwork and records of services performed.
• May work overtime as required by management.
