Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Roll Off Driver to support local operations by delivering reliable waste removal services to commercial and industrial customers. This role emphasizes independent work, physical activity, safety, and strong customer service as you operate roll-off trucks, perform inspections, and report on route efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and perform daily inspections.
• Good communication with team and customers.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and sit for extended periods.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and high-traffic environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks and ancillary equipment to collect and transport waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete route sheets.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards or issues.
• Represent GFL with professionalism and deliver excellent customer service.
• Keep cab clean and assist team to optimize route efficiency.
