Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a team oriented, courteous, and dependable CDL driver in Houston, TX. The role requires a Class A or B CDL and a clean driving record, with the ability to read and speak English well while serving customers.

You will perform daily inspections, operate lift and compaction equipment, secure loads, and maintain a clean vehicle. A $10,000 driver award is offered as recognition for meeting criteria over time.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for operators.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Secure containers by attaching hook and pull onto the bed; secure with straps and tarp as needed.
• Provide courteous, expeditious customer service in all aspects of refuse operation.
• Answer customer questions or direct to Customer Service or Sales.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections per DOT and company safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean truck; inspect under hood and tires and fill fluids as needed.
