Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. in Kenner, LA, has immediate openings for energetic CDL drivers to join an expanding team delivering roll-off services to commercial customers. CDL class A or B, clean driving record, 21+, and DOT knowledge required. You will secure containers, operate lift equipment, perform daily vehicle inspections, and provide courteous service. Training provided; $10,000 driver award program every 3 years.

Qualifications

• CDL class A or B valid for the state of the position.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Understanding of DOT regulations and CMV operations.
• Hearing and vision within normal range.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Ability to maintain written records and service responses.
• Must communicate in English with customers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Secure containers by attaching hooks and using control levers; secure tarps and straps.
• Provide courteous, expeditious customer service in all aspects of refuse operation.
• Answer questions and direct customers to Customer Service or Sales for more information.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR per Waste Pro guidelines.
• Maintain a clean truck and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Attend corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Stay up-to-date on current technology used by Waste Pro.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
