Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring energetic CDL drivers to serve commercial customers in Kenner, LA. You will operate standard refuse collection equipment, secure containers, and provide courteous service in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have a Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record, be at least 21, and able to meet DOT requirements. Training, team support, and opportunities for advancement are available within Waste Pro USA.

Qualifications

Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state; clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements.
Speak and read English well for communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Maintain written records and service responses.
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Secure containers with hook and straps; manage lift on truck bed.
Provide courteous, expeditious service to customers and the public.
Answer customer questions or direct to Customer Service or Sales.
Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean truck and wash exterior weekly.
Attend corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned; stay updated on current technology used by Waste Pro; perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
