Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL drivers. The Residential Driver operates refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, maintains logs and inspects trucks, and supervises helpers on the route.

Qualifications

Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of work
Must maintain a clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Must speak/read English well enough to communicate and complete paperwork

Responsibilities

Safely drives on pre-established residential routes and dumps garbage and recyclables
Provides courteous, expeditious customer service on routes
Inspects truck per DOT requirements and Waste Pro procedures
Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and logs DVIR
Maintains truck cleanliness and checks under-hood components
Handles manual cleanup of scattered refuse and operates truck hydraulics
Prepares and files required reports and documents
Supervises helpers on the route and ensures safety
Complies with DOT/state requirements for CMV operators
May be required to work during emergencies
